  • What Is urBin?

    urBin is the smartest way to reclaim your space. Our mission is to be the most customer centric storage company, and to provide people living in urban environments with the ability to live unrestrained by their physical space.

  • How Does It Work?

    With urBin, storage is easy! We drop off empty bins. You fill and lock them. When you’re ready, we will pick up the locked bins and store them in our secure facility.

    Schedule a delivery whenever you want and your bins will be home in 24-48 hours. You can empty your bins on the spot, or ask us to come back for them later. Please note, your subscription remains active until the bins are returned to us.

  • What Storage Packages Do You Offer?

    We offer a variety of packages to fit your evolving needs. Both small and large packages are available so just tell us whatever works better for you.

    Remember, it’s OK if your possessions don’t fit in the bins. We can provide a quote for larger items too!

  • What Size Are The Bins?

    Think of each bin as an extra closet, suitable for half your wardrobe, a full Christmas tree and all the fixin’s, and all your golf clubs, scuba gear and other prized possessions.

  • What About My Possessions That Won’t Fit In The Bins?

    Won’t fit in the bins? Not a problem with urBin! Just submit a photo and brief description of your larger items here and we’ll provide a storage quote. We pick up, deliver and do all of the packing for you to ensure safe storage of your prized possessions.

You access your prized posessions

  • How Do I Access My Bins?

    How do you access everything else in the city? With your laptop, tablet, or smartphone simply select any of the available delivery windows and we will deliver your possessions directly to your home. We will text you when we are on the way so that you are never waiting!

  • What Locations Do You Serve?

    We currently serve most addresses in New York City. If your address is outside of our service area, mileage charges will apply. Please feel free to contact us to find out if your address is within our service area.

  • When Do You Deliver / Pick-Up?

    We offer standard arrival windows 7-12 and 12-5 7 days a week. After hours service and 2-hour upgrades available for a reasonable fee. Please inquire via email text phone or here

    You can schedule a delivery time up to a month in advance, or as late as 48 hours before delivery, subject to availability.

    Please note, the dates between 25-2 of each month get booked very quickly. If you need to schedule an appointment for one of those days, please plan as early as possible.

We secure your valuables

  • Will My Possessions Be Safe?
    Very safe. Here’s what we do to ensure the security of your prized possessions:

    • You lock your own bins (we’ll never ask for a key!)
    • Double-locked bins for extra security
    • Bins have heavy-duty plastic construction
    • Modern security monitoring systems at the facility
    • 24/7 on-site manager at the facility
  • Do You Provide Locks?

    We provide complimentary zip-ties for your bins. You can provide your own locks, or you can purchase them from us. Locks are $10 for a set of two.

  • Where Are The Bins Stored?

    We store all items in our nearby, secure facility in New Jersey.

  • What do I need to provide?
    In order to conveniently reclaim your space, you’ll need:

  • What Payment Options Do I Have?

    We’ll automatically process your monthly charges with any major credit card, debit card or bank account at the beginning of every storage month. No bills, no checks to mail, super easy. Please note, late fees may apply if your payment is more than 10 days past due.

  • Do you offer storage fee proration?

    We do not currently offer proration.

  • Do You Offer Insurance?

    We don’t currently offer customer insurance plans through urBin, but are definitely looking into it for the future.

    The contents of your bins can usually be added to your homeowner’s insurance policy and we suggest you check with your insurance agent.
